I can’t lie. Here I am in a Minneapolis coffee shop. Sitting down. Preparing to write blogposts for Utah, California, and Oregon all in one sitting. I have no one else to blame besides myself.
Okay, Utah, in list form, the only way to do things. Enjoy this collection of photos accompanied by a lot of words that probably don’t make sense to you.

-Started by stopping in Moab. I ordered a mini Pizza Hut personal pizza and checked on the status of the hotel hot tub every 20 minutes.
-Hiked to Delicate Arch, the postcard type vibe. Only realized once I was on the edge of a tilted path that led to a straight drop-off that I was scared of heights.
-Drove around Arches park and it was actually quite fun to just drive through.
-Drove to Salt Lake City, our home for the next month.
-Moved in, and found a really cute juice shop (Vive).
-Tried to go bowling, but then learned that Mormons really enjoy bowling, and the wait times were hours lol.
-Went to the Great Salt Lake in the middle of a rain/wind storm. Learned about little shrimp that live in the lake and watched a video about the Hotel turned EDM venue.
-Found a local hike that had a view over the city. It was, quite nice.
-Hiked some more. Very uphill.
-Saw Yoke Lore in concert, it was fun but we were definitely surrounded by Utah teenage influencers.
-Went to Park City for… the day? An hour? Short-lived. It was pretty but extremely boring when there isn’t a film festival happening or you’re very rich and ski. Interesting.
-Drive to Antelope Island. This place was SO beautiful but also infested with flies. Win some lose some.
-Developed an In-N-Out obsession but not really but kind of.
-Went to a basketball game and ate really hard pretzels and cheese dip.
-Drove with Colin and Zoey to Spiral Jetty and saw orange/red water for the first time. Ate some Mexican food and drove back.
-Visited the capital to see the flowers bloom. Sat down by a fake river?? Why are these a thing? Strangely nice. Got licked on the face by a random dog.
-FINALLY GOT TO BOWL.
-Got addicted to Sodalicous but were scared of the high schoolers who ran it.
-Got a Planet Fitness membership and mastered the 12-2-30.
-Ate a large bowl of potatoes in bed and watched One Tree Hill while we packed.
-Woke up early and ran around the Salt Flats.
-Drove to Lake Tahoe- to be continued in the next post.
With love and shirley temples,
Linds.
